One of the highlights of my year is seeing teachers and principals receive recognition for the tireless work they do every day. As part of the celebration on April 12, we viewed videos of the finalists and were prepared to be amazed. The stories demonstrated the commitment and caring shown by KCPS professionals. PrincipalsConnect was honored to provide $1,000 to the winning principal of East High School, Luis Hinojosa and $500 to Julie Lynch of Hale Cook Elementary amd Dr. Jessie Kirksey of Hartman Elementary. They are using the prize money to buy books and supplies for their schools.
